This article explains how player stats are updated, as these changes can sometimes cause confusion.
All Squads entries follow clear and consistent rules to ensure fairness for every user. If at any point you believe that an incorrect stat was used, please note that at the time your entry is settled and payouts are processed, the player statistics applied are those provided by Opta, our official data partner. We operate within a 4-hour window during which any stat updates are reflected. Once locked in, these stats are displayed on the Squads platform at the moment of settlement.
Sometimes, Opta may update player stats several hours later. However, once entries have closed and payouts are completed, results cannot be adjusted, even if player statistics change afterwards. This rule ensures transparency and a level playing field for everyone.
