Discounted picks temporarily reduce the line for a single player pick by a percentage (e.g., 50%) to increase players' chances of winning that pick. These picks are time-limited. They come up within a specific time frame before the game and disappear before the game starts. Discounted picks are available on a selected projection on different match days throughout the season.
Example: Erling Haaland has a standard shots line of 4. A 50% Discounted pick reduces the line to 2. Players can add that 2-shot pick to one lineup during the timed window. Multipliers and payouts follow standard payout rules.
How does Discounted picks work
Squads reserves the right to select one player in any category and applies a percentage discount to the pick's line for a fixed window.
βEach player can only create one entry with a particular discounted pick and they can add just one discounted pick per entry.
βA discounted pick in a lineup is treated as a standard projection and is available for standard and flex entries except when combined with an Ice or Flames pick.
βMaximum entry amount for lineups with the discounted pick is capped dynamically. This means that the maximum entry amount that applies to entries with standard lines changes for entries with Discounted picks.
A discounted pick will be voided if the player plays less than 45 minutes, does not start, gets injured or substituted in the first half.
