We understand that users may choose to delete their accounts for personal or security reasons. However, account deletion is a permanent and irreversible action, and it is important to fully understand its implications before proceeding.
What Happens When Your Squads Account Is Deleted ?
Before confirming account deletion, users are presented with an in-app prompt outlining the consequences of this action. Once the deletion process is completed, the following applies:
1. Permanent Loss of Access
All account data is permanently deleted;
Deleted accounts are unrecoverable and cannot be restored under any circumstances
Once deletion is finalized, access to the account is permanently lost.
2. Restrictions on Creating New Accounts
A new account cannot be created using the same KYC document, phone number or email address linked with the deleted account.
These restrictions apply exactly as highlighted in the prompt shown before the account deletion process within the app.
This policy helps maintain platform integrity, and drives compliance with regulatory standards.
